We are pleased that you have taken time to visit our Website and hope you will find the site informative. The Alabama Good Sam Organization is a part of the International Good Sam Club. A part of the club’s objectives is to stimulate a greater interest and development of the principles of good camping, fellowship among campers and be of aid to fellow campers anywhere throughout the world.
While browsing this site you will find information about Good Sam Chapters in your area, the names of Chapter Presidents and how to contact them if you are interested in joining a Chapter. If you can not locate one in your area, please contact me and I will help you find a Chapter or assist you in forming a new Chapter.
Belonging to a Good Sam Chapter is where the fun is. Most Chapters have monthly meetings and campouts during the camping season. By attending Chapter meetings, campouts, state meetings and the annual state Samborees, you will meet people who will become “extended family members”. At the Samboree you will be able to attend informational seminars, visit commercial vendors, attend quality entertainment and take part in many table and outdoor games.
