News from Cheaha Sams (Dec 15, 2011)
Dec. 15th 2011: Cheaha Sams presented a check to the Talladega School for Deaf & Blind. The club also adopted a child for Christmas and gave him gifts
based on his "What I want for Christmas List". While there, enjoyed a great lunch provided by the school.

News from Sand Mountain Sams (Dec 09, 2011)
Dec. 9th 2011: Sand Mountain Sams presented a check to the Pediatric Intensive
Care Unit (PICU), Women and Children's Hospital, Huntsville, AL.
They also presented a check to the Talladega School for Deaf & Blind.
News from Talladega Speedway (Oct 21-23, 2011)
Our State Director Gordon & Pat Smith along with our State Ambassador Bill & Barbara
Richmond and ASD’s Larry & Cathy Cobb & Roy & Marilyn Galloway worked two
Booths at the Good Sam Club 500 Nascar Race at Talladega, this past weekend - Oct. 21
-23rd .
One Good Sam Club Booth was located just outside the International Motorsports Hall
of Fame & Museum at the Camping world Store on the north side of the racetrack and
the other was located on the south side of the racetrack at that Camping World Store.
We greeted hundreds of people at both locations, and introduced them to the benefits
offered by the Good Sam Club. Almost everyone that was camping, was aware of Good
Sam. Some were members and others had not joined. Nonmembers became interested
in joining after we talked with them for awhile. We gave them information about the Club
and information about Alabama Good Sams and our Samborees.
We believe we had great success in educating more RV’ers of the benefits of being a Good Sam Member, -- RV Insurance, Roadside Service, Campground Discounts, Rallys
& Samborees, the opportunity to enjoy local Chapter Membership, and much more.
Hopefully this will spark an interest in joining Good Sam and Alabama Good Sams.
We made lots of friends within the Good Sam & Camping World Organization.
